A Bit About Us

We are a family-based contracting business in the heart of Upper Hutt and have been operating since 2004.

Amongst our awesome team we have a range of different skills and qualifications, we have licensed building practitioners, generator technicians, licensed electricians, qualified engineers, asphalt technicians and much more. We believe it is a great asset to have qualified workers on board, as this ensures any work we complete all gets completed in the safest possible way, while complying to all NZ standards and regulations.

Any work you may need done; we can do it. We are also able to work through the council consent process for work we carry out.

Here at Braddock & Co we take great pride in the work we complete. We carry out this work to the highest possible standard to ensure not only our clients are happy, but that we are satisfied too.

Meet the Team

Matthew Harlen

Managing Director

Matthew has had 15 years with Braddock & Co, which he then became the face of the company
in 2021. Matthew oversees the operations and project management for jobs. Matthew also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.

Rebecca Bartosh

Operations Manager

Rebecca deals with the accounts, our clientele and our overall day to day planning.

Caitlyn Sutherland

Administration

Caitlyn does the payroll, health and safety certifications and general administration work.

Gage Wilson-Harlen

Qualified Carpenter

Gage is our project manager and team leader. Gage is a qualified builder of 2+ years with over
5 years within the building industry. Gage also carries his Wheels, Tracks & Rollers license and an EWP Certification. Gage also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.

Andrew Ayrton

Qualified Rigger

Andrew is a qualified rigger of 20+ years, with a broad knowledge of working at heights and working with harnesses. Andrew also carries his Wheels, Tracks & Rollers licence and has carried out a Grow Safe course & an EWP course. Andrew also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.

Karl Sammons

General labourer

Karl is our general labourer. He carries his Wheels, Tracks & Rollers license as well as his working from heights license and EWP Certification. Karl also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.

Graeme Kidd

Qualified Engineer

Graeme is our talented engineer. He has 10+ years with Braddock & Co and 30+ years in the engineering industry. He also carries a Site Safe construction passport.

Chase

Builder

Chase is a Licensed Building Practitioner with 10+ years experience within the building industry, working with Braddock & Co for a year and a half. Chase also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.

Luke De Visser

Qualified Electrician

Luke has had 10+ years with Braddock & Co and is our licensed electrician. Luke has completed his Electrical Workers Registration and has carried out his Vertical Horizons – working at height course as well as his EWP Certification. Luke also carries an All Site Safe Construction Passport.
